Mona Elswah

Researcher

Mona Elswah is a researcher at Oxford University’s Oxford Internet Institute and a Fellow in Technology at Harvard University. She is also a Lecturer at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University. Mona writes on the intersection between digital media, Internet governance, and content moderation. She has a PhD from the Oxford Internet Institute (OII) at the University of Oxford. Her work has been featured in several international media outlets, and she has presented her work at different conferences and events. Mona has a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a Post-graduate Diploma in Public Policy from the American University in Cairo
