    Bence Kollanyi has recently graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with an MS in Public Policy. During his studies at Tech, he started doing research related to social media and computational propaganda. He is currently a PhD student in Sociology at the Corvinus University of Budapest where his research focuses on the automation of social media accounts, including the development of open-source bots, and their deployment on Twitter and other social media platforms. In the COMPROP project at the Oxford Internet Institute, Bence was responsible for collecting and analyzing Tweets during the Brexit voting and the recent referendum on the EU migrant quotas in Hungary as well as several events in the US election season.
