Cindy Ma

Cindy Ma is a doctoral candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute and a research assistant with the Computational Propaganda Project. Her research investigates online racism and the function of irony, humour, and satire in digital spaces. Prior to joining the OII, she worked at the educational non-profit Debate Mate. She completed her MSc at the London School of Economics and her BA at the University of Western Ontario.
