    ComProp researcher Marcel Schliebs has contributed to a Financial Times article on the difficulties faced by TikTok to be apolitical ahead of the 2020 US election. Marcel ‘pointed to videos that appeared designed to circumvent its policies’, explained that several videos had ‘attempted to undermine the legitimacy of mail-in voting with unverified claims’, and noted that ‘videos with the hashtag #voterfraud have garnered 7.5m views’.
