Associated Press: For Russian diplomats, disinformation is part of the job

Marcel Schlieb, a researcher at the Oxford Internet Institute, who has tracked more than 300 social media accounts linked to Russian embassies, consulates and diplomatic groups has commented on an Associated Press article about the online activity of the Russian diplomats:

Each week since the beginning of the war these diplomats have posted thousands of times, gaining more than a million engagements on Twitter per week,

The article’s appearence had a high engagement with the accompanying twitter thread reaching 790 retweets.
